Suburb - New Lambton

Another connectivity option that could be investigated - using Alma Lane, Naruta Lane and Russell Lane to provide a quietway to/from the New Lambton urban centre to the R4 regional cycleway. A complication with this proposal would be the more difficult construction of a shared path under the trees on the corner of Lambton Rd and Bridges Rd. There is an existing footpath there now, but it would need to be widened if it were to become a shared path.

Also suggest blocking of the Russell Lane exit onto Bridges Rd to vehicle traffic (using a modal filter) if this proposal was implemented.
